The Warehouse and Briscoes have operated on this site for over a decade and in that time ‘big box’ retail requirements have changed and the existing building had become less suitable and lacked presence. This need to upgrade presented us with the opportunity to refurbish and extend the existing building as well as design new entrances that give both well-known retail businesses a defined sense of entry and identity.
1,300 square metres of floor area was added to the building to bring the total to 6,749 square metres. The project has been a successful retail rejuvenation project.
